Tongue Thrush
Tongue thrush is a fungal infection of the mouth.
Normally, there is a healthy equilibrium of naturally occuring fungus and bacteria in the mouth. Antibiotics or a compromised immune system can throw off this balance such that the fungus (aka candidosis or moniliasis) takes over and forms these white spots and patches on the mouth. In health adults; eating yogurt can help restore the normal bacteria in your mouth.
