How will the doctor treat my yeast infection if im already on antibiotics?
I've basically been on atibiotics for like a month going on two months because penicillin did not get my tooth infection out so im on new antibiotics and its probaly the reason i have a yeast infection. but i cant stop taking my antibiotics for my teeth infection. what could the doctor do for me?

- There are over the counter things to get rid of yeast infections that normally don't infer with yeast infections..and if your taking Birth Control stop taking it from the time being and stop having sex. Also there is a home remedy take a bath of oatmeal and eat tons of yogurt

- usually over the counter creams will clear it up but i also know that penniclin gives me chronic bouts of thrush and some antibiotics can do that to you so it may by wise to discuss it with your doc next to so he or she knows not to put you back on it
- You're right, it probably is the reason for the yeast infection. If it definitely is a yeast infection than you can treat it yourself. In this case, I would recommend Monistat Vaginal Cream (or it's generic equivalent) since you will be on antibiotics for awhile.
