Tongue Thrush
My baby's tongue red blister sore?
My 4 month old baby has got red patches on her tongue and has had them for about 3 weeks, we went to the doctor as they looked sore and the doctor said it was a non specific viral infection and would clear up in about 7 - 10 days but this has not happened, it's not thrush as she had thrush when she was a few weeks old with a white tongue and we treated it and it never came back. The sores look a bit like popped blisters, is it possible that these have developed from sucking on her toys? I would appreciate any feedback as I have tried to research this topic but am unable to find anything, thanks.

- Considering she is so young, I would defintely contact the dr and ask him to check her tongue out again. If he said it should clear up and it hasnt she likely needs an antibiotic.
