thrush in healthy adults?
can u get thrush 9 days after use of antibotics? i had it a month ago due to antibotics well last night my tongue burned alittle and there r white patches now. i had blood work done and everything was normal. if i got thrush again does this mean my immune system is bad? i am pretty healthy except for this.please help?

- I don't think it's a reflection onto your immune system. Probably more of a reflection onto your body's PH, if anything. All Thrush is, is a yeast infection in your mouth, and the last treatment may not have cleared it up completely. The antibiotics killed the healthy bacteria that would kill the yeast, so the yeast is taking over. Yeast also grows in an environment where the PH is neutral so eating pickles AFTER your next treatment (otherwise, Ouch! your poor mouth!) will help raise your PH a little and help prevent it from happening again. Until then, eating yogurt will help kill the yeast and coat and soothe your mouth. But, you'll need to go back to the Dr. to get another prescription and hopefully, clear it up for good!
